About Showing Up
Helping families feel ready
Showing Up was created to give parents of young performers the kind of guidance Megan wishes her own family had at the start. When she began acting at 11, her parents had no insider knowledge of the industry. They learned as they went, asked hard questions, and made huge sacrifices after she was accepted by Sylvia Young Theatre School.
That lived experience now shapes everything the business offers: practical support, honest advice, and trusted education for families who love performing but do not already know how the industry works.
Why parents trust Megan
Megan brings firsthand experience from every angle: child performer, professional performer, teacher, and school principal. Her mission is to level the playing field so more families can move forward with clarity and confidence.
Her story
From child performer to mentor
Megan knows what it feels like to chase big opportunities without a roadmap. She has lived the auditions, training, setbacks, and wins, and now helps parents understand what matters most at each stage.
Her credentials
Trusted professional expertise
Alongside her performing career, Megan has built a strong reputation as an educator and leader. Parents can learn from someone with real industry credibility and a deep commitment to young performers.
Her mission
Leveling the playing field
Showing Up is for normal families who want trusted guidance, not gatekeeping. The goal is simple: help parents avoid common mistakes, ask better questions, and support their child with more confidence.
